If you are a member and do not live in the Mikkeli region, you may need accommodation during the event.  If you have indicated that you need accommodation, your contact information may be given to the accommodation organiser. Accommodation is organised by accommodation service providers operating in Mikkeli and nearby municipalities.

We sign appropriate confidentiality agreements with companies operating on behalf of the association. We also sign agreements on the principles of personal data processing with the companies. The information is not used for other purposes.

Other members and volunteer workers

We may pass on your contact information to people who participate in organising an internal event of the association, in organising of which you also participate yourself. We may also pass on your contact information to another member of the association or to a partner of the association if considered necessary for performin the internal tasks of the association.

Purpose of processing

Mikkeli Music Festival Support Association is an event organiser operating in Mikkeli.

We collect the employees' contact information for salary payment as well as for managing the employment relationship.  

In addition, we collect contact information of the performing artists for arranging accommodation. We may also send information on coming events to the performing artists.

Data content and legal basis of the register

Collected information includes first and last name, address, email address, personal id number and bank account number.

In addition, we may collect information about the employees' state of health in order to pay and settle sick pay and related benefits. 

The basis for data processing is a statutory obligation (employer obligations).   

Storing of data

Employees' personal data will be stored for ten years from the end of the employment as based on the Employment Contracts Act, the employee has the right to request an employment reference within 10 years of the end of the employment relationship.

Health information will be deleted no later than two months after the end of the employment relationship. 

Source of data

The personal data is mainly collected from the person himself / herself. With the employee's consent, the health care personnell may deliver the sick leave certificate directly to the employer.
