Violin concerto with a finalist of Kuopio Violin Competition 2025
Introduction
Symphony Orchestra Vivo will perform the Romeo & Juliet orchestra suite by Sergei Prokofiev, portraying the legendary story of two tragic young lovers.
Symphony Orchestra Vivo is the only national youth orchestra of Finland, open to apply for talented young musicians in between 13 and 25 of age. Mikkeli Music Festival supports Vivo and Finnish orchestral education by organising this annual practise period and a concert of the orchestra.
The concert shall present yet another future start of music: a finalist of Kuopio Violin Competition 2025 shall perform as a soloist with a violin concerto of their choosing.
