For the love of nature

"One of the great experiences of my life! My God, what beauty," Sibelius wrote when he saw swans taking flight from a still lake. In his diary he wrote the wonderful theme which ended up in the finale of the fifth symphony. Rachmaninov's Second Piano Concerto is one of the composer's most beloved works.
