Kirill Kozlovski is a Belarussian-born Finnish pianist. His piano teachers included Irina Semenyako, Matti Raekallio, Ilmo Ranta and Avo Kouyoumdjian. Kirill holds a doctorate degree from the Sibelius Academy for his research of the music of Dmitri Shostakovich (2017). His present research projects concentrate on Soviet piano music as well as performance practices within the Soviet piano school.
A laureate of both national and international piano competitions, Kirill Kozlovski has given solo recitals and been a member of chamber ensembles at international festivals in France, Germany, Switzerland, Russia, Estonia, Spain, Finland and Belarus. He has appeared as a soloist with orchestras in Finland and abroad, collaborating with conductors such as Andris Nelsons, Janos Fürst, Dima Slobodeniouk and Klaus Mäkelä to name but a few. Kirill Kozlovski performs regularly with Finland’s foremost singers including Jorma Hynninen, Monica Groop, Mika Kares, Tuomas Katajala and Miina-Liisa Värelä.
