Elmeri Utriainen (b. 2007) began his piano studies at Music Institute Juvenalia in 2014 under the guidance of Outi Vainiomäki. From 2022 onwards, his teacher was Kari Tikkala. At the music institute, Elmeri has completed his advanced studies within the advanced syllabus for basic education in music. Since autumn 2024, Elmeri also studied at the Youth Piano Academy, and in autumn 2026 he will begin his studies at the Sibelius Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki.

Already in middle school, Elmeri was in a music-oriented class, and in spring 2026 he graduated from Tapiola Music High School. Elmeri was awarded a prize in Category II of the Tapiola Piano Competition in 2021. He considers his performances at the Young Chopin event in Helsinki in 2022, the PianoEspoo Festival in 2025, and the Mänttä Music Festival in 2026 to have been particularly significant for him. Additionally, Elmeri has performed on the piano and keyboard with the orchestras of Juvenalia and Tapiola Music High School, as well as with the Juvenalia Big Rock Band. Elmeri has participated in masterclasses by Ingrid Fliter, Alexander Kobrin, and Matti Raekallio.
